I went with a text adventure.
Spend a lot of time on choices and so on. I've got a fairly robust system but with a fairly short and lackluster game to demonstrate it!
I'll hopefully expand on this into a full adventure game, post-jam.

Not such a fan of text adventures but the humor is quite nice, I enjoyed it.
