[raw]
made by austinmakesgames for LD29 (JAM)
Tried to make in the 48 hours.

During that time I slept 15 of them, both unwillingly. The art sucks, the gameplay sucks, the ending sucks, this game is BAD. And the main reason for that is that it has no animation and it's not finished, because of constant time limit looming. I bad what was probably a much better idea that I should have switched to then and there, a little before the 12 hour mark, but I kept with this stupid idea because I thought that I didn't have enough time.

The actual idea was to mess up gravity by digging a hole through the earth and the gravity would get less and less as you dig, and it would have had a equally bad ending but probably more satisfying, with the character just trapped there rotating in the middle of the earth.

There's more time with the game jam but I really just don't want to, the whole game depressed me and I wasn't even sure if it made the theme well.

The only thing it really did was make me want to work on better games.

go to austinmakesgames.itch.io to thank me with money that I don't deserve for making bad games

Music made by Vervant, placed unfittingly in game by me.

maybe this can be beneath the surface of the good ludum dare games

Concepts like this are always fun to some degree! Ludum Dare is about learning your limits and opening your eyes to areas you want to focus on.

Keep up the hard work and don't be so down on yourself!
