Foor by bigoss73

[raw]
made by bigoss73 for LD36 (JAM)
A game about moving a cube with gravity in order to guide a human to the end of the level. There are currently 13 levels.

[IMPORTANT] - If the red bar on top of the screen doesn't show up try running the game in windowed mode (press alt + Enter), it's just an issue with some aspect ratios.

It features a save system, and if you don't know how to beat a level you can go to Foor_Data\save.txt and edit the save by typing in the level you want to skip to.

Music: relaxed mario by the White Piano Key Productions

R - Restart the level

Neat! Lots of lateral thinking, and controls quite well. I wish the timer on the gravity function was visible somehow (like an hourglass). Nice tight mechanics.

I dig it. This is a solid entry. It's a simple concept but the levels you made were well designed. They offered a good level of challenge.

I got up to level 7, I couldn't get further. I tried for 30 minutes. Found it a challenging level for me.

Very smartly designed levels, I like the music and its easy to pick up and understand. That two second timer did seem pretty slow though, so your movements count.

Excellent game, the level design and puzzles were engaging. I would recommend having a scoring system and a way to tell if the cube is moveable again. Good luck continuing this.

The red timer bar seems to disappear on some resolutions. If you don't see a red bar on top on the screen try windowing the game (alt + enter). Thanks for all the feedback!

This is a very cool idea, just needed some more affordances. Like I would have really liked to know when I could change gravity instead of having to press the direction key all the time (since timing is important). I would also have liked some kind of way to speed up the human once the block's work is done, but that's minor. Very cool idea otherwise and some neat level design, good work.

I have went through like 8 puzzles. I really liked the music. I liked the puzzles but it really bothered me that when I went into the human from the side, it would sometimes kill him instead of just pushing him. Also I dont know why, but a part of the screen was cut off, it didnt affect anything but I noticed it on the level select.

Really interesting puzzle game. Kept me engaged for quite some while - and the music was also nice and kept me motivated :D

I guess it's because of the short time in the game jam - but in the last few stages the new features came in quite quick succession... Another level after the red/blue barriers had been introduced before introducing the green ones would have been better for the pacing I guess :)

I liked the challenge level, which required you to try out t different approaches and not just the straight forward ones... Well done!
