Hidden In Plain Sight by FreezerburnVinny

[raw]
made by FreezerburnVinny for LD29 (COMPO)
This is my extremely simple entry for Ludum Dare 29. The way I implement the theme is a bit more abstract. The world in the game is hiding something beneath its surface that you must discover as the player. Other than that, it's just a simple, 2D, top-down, eight-direction movement game where you explore a museum, and have to steal the main attraction. I hope you enjoy it.
Also please note that almost everything you see in-game is intentional. Most bugs should be ironed out, so everything else should be considered part of the atmosphere or hints at something.

A note about the Windows version: I have decided not to make a Windows version. I honestly view this as more of a learning experience for myself, than as something submittable to a wider audience. I have no illusions about the quality of my game versus the quality of many other games made by much more experienced people :)

A note about downloading the OS/X version: Google decides to show the content of the zip file when you click the link instead of just letting you download it. So you'll have to click the "File" button at the top left, and click on Download from the menu. (or press Command+S) Sorry about that
Also note that the OS X version seems to be locked into 10.9, Mavericks. The way I have SDL2 compiled seems to depend upon functions that exist in Mavericks libraries, but nothing previous. If you do not have Mavericks, please take the time to rate another game instead :)
