Anenenemenone by OliverEberlei

[raw]
made by OliverEberlei for LD29 (JAM)
This game was made for the 29th Ludum Dare in 72 hours by Anneke and Oliver Eberlei.

-----------------------------------------------------

Only 5% of the earths ocean is explored... (dramatic music)

In Anenenemenone you steer a small submarine, trying to explore the depths of the ocean. Armed only with a camera, it is your task to find unknown life.

Can you take photos of all existing creatures?

-----------------------------------------------------

Watch a short video of the game here:

-----------------------------------------------------

Controls:
The first version requires an Oculus Rift to play. I'll make a post-jam version tomorrow which replaces the head movement with mouse controls.

Gamepad Controls:
Left Stick - Move your submarine up/down/left/right (only when moving)
Right Trigger - Accelerate
Left Trigger - Deccelerate
A - Raise Camera
Right Shoulder Button - Trigger Camera (when raised)

Keyboard Controls:
WASD - Move your submarine up/down/left/right (only when moving)
E - Accelerate
Q - Deccelerate
Right Mouse Button - Raise Camera
Left Mouse Button - Trigger Camera (when raised)

Have fun exploring! :-)

Kudos for making something for the rift :) Luckily I own one.
Great game, and nice simple graphics and gameplay. This is something that really shines on the rift :) thanks for making this game.

Wow this looks rad. I wish I had a Rift now.

Oculus-only? Wow, these platform-requirements might be the most selective this ld ;P

This is exactly the kind of game I first envisioned for this LD. How I wish I had an Oculus to try it out!
