We are a group of teenage boys who decided to participate in Ludum Dare 36. This is our first Ludum dare for all of us. We made our own engine just to try something new (Other games we've made with Unity). If you feel like we did something wrong please fill free to let us know in the comments or at robochrisc@gmail.com.
We've also made other games like Spinner if you also want to check that out(on Google play only. Not trying to promote the app. I don't care if you look at it or not).

Funny, i felt like my childhood drawings finally become alive !
Sometimes i want to jump but it seems like I have to wait the end of the slide to actually jump.

@kmitz Lol yeah that was on purpose. We wanted the game to kinda be realistic. I mean you can't slide then jump while sliding can you? If someone can then i'll change Spear Dash to do so.

The game is okay. I really like that you have used your own game engine. Well done. And welcome to LD, hope to see you again.

My first game over was less than 2 seconds in. I kind of love that. The understated sfx are a great match: “ugh.”

Had fun with it. Gives me hope that one day I will learn how to properly slide tackle a Turkeydactyl.

Controls felt awkward, but this was pretty neat none-the-less. Making your own engine is no small feat, though, so congrats!

The "oof" sound effect was the icing on the cake.

Nice entry. = ) It is pretty simple but your graphics are fun and mechanics are here. Good work for a first LD, even more as a team of teenagers.

Good first effort. It plays smoothly which is more than a lot of people's first efforts. Also some of the art is decent.
