Egyptian Gem Puzzle by Draint

[raw]
made by Draint for LD36 (JAM)
How to play:

Drag a gem from below into the sockets (golden disks) and rotate the output of the socket by dragging in a circle.

I recommend placing the gems first and then adjusting the sockets.

There is a game breaking error if you build a infinite repeating ray between two sockets.

More Information:
Solo developed. Didn't make it for the compo deadline. Had to develop some more hours and fix some mayor bugs.

Software used:
- Unity3D
- Blender (for Sprites with normal map)
- Gimp

The idea is really cool but it does give you the error when you create an infinite ray between sockets, and sometime it happens accidentally and you have to restart :(
Apart from that I liked it, would be even cooler with some Egyptian music :)

how many level is it?, only 2?, since i stuck at "solved" screen when i finish the 2nd level

very nice puzzle, clean looking at fit the theme quite well, at first i expect the beam will change color depend on what previous color + the next gem you put it in, the puzzle will be much interesting that way
but still, very fun and solid entry for game jam :D

I really liked the look of the game and the style of puzzles you had. I would really like some Egyptian sounding music like another commenter posted :)

At the second level I had a bug that crashed the game. I put a green gem in the bottom, blue gem in the top, then swapped blue gem out for a green gem and the discs suddenly changed direction and crashed the game.
