Also if you're looking to improve your game, look at Fistful of Gun, it may be nice inspiration for you. I really liked pixelart. I did a Flashpunk game for LD29, then recently I ported it to Haxepunk and now I tried Haxeflixel for the first time and I like it for 2d games.
