And also that this game reminded me of "Frogger".
Unfortunately im getting an error when ever i die, the web plugin crashes and the sounds loop indefinitely.
P.S. Remember to post your high scores! Lets see if you can beat the developers ;D
I see you have the grey guy as 'immune' and after seeing that I realise he's wearing armour. I actually thought he was a ninja assassinating the cops!
Ps: my score is 29
Thanks MonochromeBears! You were only two away from the current record in the comments!
29 is my best score, but I just want to keep playing. This is a major keeper for my LD30 folder.
@ninjascript Which strategies did you end up with? I find a combination of an even square shape and a longer shape to be the best, depending on the placement of your people! But executing it is always way harder.
@ TehSkull Thanks for your kind words! A bit more and you might just beat the comment section record! (Currently stands at 31)

That gameplay is addicting. So simple - so good.
Nice graphics - although the map could have used some more different tiles. The characters looked pretty funny. I liked them + the soundtrack is ace. Nice job - well done.

Feels almost like a souped up version of the legendary snake port on the motorola brick phone.
This concept could be developed in a bunch of ways and be great. Using a touch system, or heavier content(police rioting), more arcade-y. Nice job.
I think the downpoint for me was the readability, the scale of the viewport (although necessary for gameplay) and the style of the people (fun, but all similar silhouettes), in addition to the police siren effect and the tiled background made it a bit busy. I think just working on making the background and the characters separate more would be nice if you ever come back to it.
Thanks!
@GAFBlizzard Thanks for the kind words!

The bullet guy was very clear what his function was but I couldn't tell the other npcs functions without referencing this page. Maybe they could have some visual that represents their function.
Overall art style is consistent. I like the trucks and idle animations.
Music choice for menu is pleasant but the game music is a little jarring.
It was nice to have the police lanes so you can see where danger is, but if they spawn in at the sides it felt a little unfair. I guess it could be apart of the strategy to stay away from the sides.
This is a fantastic entry on all levels. I'm bookmarking so I can keep playing on slow days post-jam. I've reviewed close to 100 games personally and this one is an outstanding favorite. The only thing I'd change is the menu theme, which doesn't really fit with the rest of the game well. Still--definitely one of my favorites. Thank you for the game!

@hbocao Thanks! Credits have to go to Kevin MacLeod for the sound but glad you like the art.
@TKia_ Thanks, you're the second guy to like the camera shakes! haha makes me very happy.
@Yword Wow that's pretty damn good. Only 3 points away from the highscore. Glad you enjoyed the game!
Anyway, it's quite enjoyable :)
