Worlds Together by mklee

[raw]
made by mklee for LD30 (COMPO)
Two worlds rely on each other for survival. One world grows slowly in peace, the other feeds on destruction to survive. Keep both worlds alive for as long as you can in this precarious relationship.

Gameplay: On the left, click on asteroids to protect the planet. On the right, click on ships to prevent them from leaving. The left planet grows slowly over time. The right planet shrinks without debris from the left.

Note: The jam entry is incomplete missing audio, polish, and a true ending. Thanks for playing!

Not exactly a finished game, but I like the concept. If you could expand upon it to make it less confusing perhaps it could be something great. As it stands I still feel that more could have been done on this even within 48 hours, but I like that you focused on putting quality into what you did end up making.

It is nice, the mecanic is good, maybe a missed ship could destroy (shrink) the left asteroid without creating debris?

Interesting concept. Really simple but not bad. starts off a bit slow but pretty good overall. You should take the project a little further. Nice entry :)

Interesting concept, I think it would really hit more strongly if the give and take between the planets were more clear. Maybe if there were more give and take systems between the planets that you slowly figured out?

Pretty neat concept! I imagine peaceful piano music being played along with a game like this. Also took me a while to figure out that I needed to mess up to spawn the 2nd world.
