AnSynth Technology by xclementx

[raw]
made by xclementx for LD36 (JAM)
#FIRST : I have decided to be part of this jam only 13 hours before the end.

AnSythn Technology is a kind of Flash sampler using retro-sounds.
You can choose beteween 3 synthetizers, a drum-machine and some pre-recorded beats.

I made the sounds with Massive and Ableton Live. Using Flash CC for code and Photoshop for graphism.

Thanks to Sylvère (01101101) for the help. And Emma, Loic, Stephane (x2), Romain...

#Drum Machine :
1 - Kick
2 - Snare
3 & 4 - HitHat
5 - Crash

#PantyShitter (Bass) :
X - C (Note)
V - D (Note)
V - F (Note)
B - G (Note)

#SyntheXuperie (Synth) :
S - C (Note)
D - D (Note)
F - F (Note)
G - G (Note)

#SyntheLoper (Bass) :
E - C (Note)
R - D (Note)

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.

This is pretty cool, it would have been nice to have more notes, as you can't really play anything with just 4 keys per synth. It's still pretty impressive for being made in the last 13 hours!

Nice interpretation of the theme! Would have been easier with keyboard key reminders directly on the screen, but I still enjoyed making some music :).

I'm not sure we could say it a real game, but I have fun playing around with it.
It would have been nice to always show the hotkeys tho

This would be awesome if you could save the music you create, and possibly use it for other LD's! I like how you made something different, in the aspect that it's not a game, but rather a resource for making a music. Anyway, Great work.

Not bad, especially considering the time you had to do this in. Music is so not my area, so I can't offer much on that side of things, although I think incorporating the controls into the keys might help improve things. Maybe some way to save or export your music too, but that might be beyond the scope of what you'd expect from a weekend-long jam.

Albeit not a game, it was super fun to play around with. The aesthetic and naming of the whole thing was b e a u t i f u l.

We played it on stream which you can see here: https://www.twitch.tv/cantgetourname/v/88815811
