Ludum Dare 36: Deep delving by Se7eNJinx
The lore (Or what was supposed to be)
//This is a demo concept for a larger game we want to make
You are a half demon competing to fight in Lucifer's tournaments; for now however you are training your skills in a simulation hosted in the ancient ruins of an old museum. Each floor you visit holds various idols and relics (If the thing didn't break so often). However, the Elevator breaks frequently! You must collect elements of power to continue your deep delve.
Controls:
WASD or Arrow Keys to move
E to activate the elevator
Left Mouse to attack
Known issues:
Monsters and score counter do not spawn
-Temp fix: just reload the game. I don't know why it does this.
Animations don't always play:
No fix, not enough time for detailing out the intricacies
Mob kills itself: Planned to fix; For now it's a game balance ;3
alt+f4 to exit game. Source files included in download!
Credits:
Sprites and Animations : Quentin Harris - Studio Hiro
I would not have any Sprites for this game period if he didn't crank them out!
Unity API: Small script samples
Unity 5 flipped a lot of things on it's head for me, I had to last minute relearn a lot of steps.
Tools:
Unity, Blender, Gimp, Photoshop, MonoDevelop, Google Drive
So long, and thanks for all the fish!
