GREGABO RENO by Pixelbear

[raw]
made by Pixelbear for LD30 (JAM)
NOTE: To fire a projectile, pull back the mouse/analogue stick like you would a slingshot!

For once you're not alone in your room - another figure is sitting atop some misplaced furniture. Instinct takes hold, and using your mind powers you rip apart the unwanted visitor. The paradox that is this figure being in the room with you, and the fact that you just killed them tears open a portal, connecting two worlds and allowing a terrible monster passage into your world. You must defeat this monster.

-----------------INSTRUCTIONS-----------------

Keyboard + mouse:

WASD or arrow keys to move the character
Hold RIGHT-CLICK to suck, ripping apart the figures and picking up gibs as projectiles
Hold LEFT-CLICK, drag back with the mouse then release to fire any gibs you've picked up
ESC to go back to the menu

Xbox Controller:

LEFT ANALOGUE STICK to move the character
Hold RIGHT TRIGGER to suck, ripping apart the figures and picking up gibs as projectiles
Hold LEFT TRIGGER, aim with the RIGHT ANALOGUE STICK then release to fire any gibs you've picked up
START to go back to the menu

-----------------TIPS-----------------

You can get more gibs (projectiles) by sucking up the figures that drop in from the portal in the ceiling.
The boss is made up of 3 parts - knocking out one of these parts stops the attack associated with it.
The centre boss part has the most health - killing this defeats the boss immediately, so aim for it!

Great game! Very nice graphics and mood, a bit too much screenshake for my eyes

Great art, truly disturbing in a McMillen sort of way.

Theme was a bit of a stretch, but the art was fantastic, and the "pull" SFX was cool. Consider raising the floor higher to make it easier to aim shots with a mouse. :)

Yay, won on my second try. Nice atmosphere and the basic gameplay feels pretty good. The screenshake was a tad strong and the boss' blood-puke attack's hitbox didn't match the graphic, because the puke didn't always reach all the way to the ground.
