And also the transitions were smooth i really liked them for some reason. the controls are a bit weird, but thats fine. the core gameplay mechanic is pretty interesting, and very relatable to us coders ;). And the ending was pretty funny i like it haha. I feel like the game would've been really good if you hadnt have gotten sick! But nice entry regardless!"},{"author_name":"JoeDev_net","author_uid":"4628","time":"Aug 27, 2014 @ 1:13pm","epoch":1409144880,"text":"I really liked this entry. The animations of the character are really nice and the concept of the game is really good. I think the physics could use some work and jumping and moving didn't quite feel right, but overall it is a really nice job!"},{"author_name":"TBSHRichard","author_uid":"7292","time":"Aug 29, 2014 @ 6:10pm","epoch":1409335500,"text":"Theme:\r<br\/>\r<br\/>(Positive) + Some guys came up with the same idea of having the code a part of the game in my game design class last year, but you've made it interactable and it works much better than what they created; plus you've done it in much less time as well!\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Gameplay:\r<br\/>\r<br\/>(Positive) + Keyboard controls are simple and easy to learn. Chose some odd key bindings that I don't see too often, but they ended up working out. I imagine it would be difficult for a left handed person possibly, but I don't know for sure.\r<br\/>(Negative) - It's not obvious right away that you have to shoot the right part of the code in order to change it. Having a keyboard in game that the player could interact with might make more sense.\r<br\/>(Negative) - The gameplay is a pretty standard platformer that uses backtracking. A little bit of additions to the code world might help break things up. For example, you could add a puzzle aspect by allowing the change of a few different variables, but allowing for only one to be change at the same time.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Graphics:\r<br\/>\r<br\/>(Positive) + All the graphics are consistent with one another and fit nicely into the world.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Final Thoughts:\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Very great game and I had a lot of fun playing; congratulations for your accomplishments even if you were not completely satisfied with your results!"},{"author_name":"jprogman","author_uid":"15225","time":"Sep 10, 2014 @ 3:39am","epoch":1410320040,"text":"Very smooth game play.
