Space Sheep by bitpuncher

As a single compo veteran and my partner as a complete newbie, this project was more about learning to work together and just getting some stuff done and getting feet wet and building momentum.

The original concept was to have an endless chain of stages where you kill enemies and then dimension-jump to a new stage where stronger/more enemies awaited, until you died. And if you failed to clear the stage's enemies fast enough, they would warp ahead of you to the next stage, compounding the difficulty.

But all we have here is some space sheep who wander around and don't fight back. A black hole spawns that doesn't do anything as well. But look at dem sheep wag their tails!

Shoot with C, mute the music with M, move with arrows.

It's great that you've tried to build something. Next LD will be better :) Nice prototype.
