Verti-Go by sago

[raw]
made by sago for LD30 (JAM)
Our game riffs on the idea of the top and bottom side of a platform as different worlds connected by the object in between.

Designed and created by Dominic (at 14, this is his first game), with programming by me, his uncle Ian.

Great graphics and the idea seemed well executed though I had some problems grapsing the controls to progress. The models mapping was nice.

Nice idea. Its a kind of unforgiving game, since it makes you completely start over when you lose a life. Plus, the game takes a long time to load the levels so the pacing can be a bit too slow.

The controls are a little bit tought. You know what, I think it's great that child and his uncle are making games together. That's how the worlds should connect with each other!
