The Bunker - LD36

You luckily manage to escape the horrors of the nuclear holocaust above ground by seeking refuge in a cold-war era nuclear bunker. However, the ANCIENT TECHNOLOGY present within the bunker is old and broken. The bunker's supplies are limited until this technology is repaired, so your only option is to scavenge for supplies and parts back on the surface. Luckily, there's an old radiation suit left behind in the bunker that you can use. You may even find items on the surface to unlock deeper parts of the bunker. Good Luck.

This is my 7th consecutive and overall Ludum Dare entry. I was considering missing out on this one, but at around noon on Sunday (British Time (GMT+1)) I had this idea. With not a lot of time left I threw this together, and here it is! Enjoy!

I'm going to sleep now...

Well, it's kind of rough.

It has, howewer, taught me how to survive in a nuclear apocalypse if there's one to come. Just suit up and repeatedly search a nearby standing building. This guarantees you'll be well fed all the time, you just have to stock up on oxygen by visiting the bunker from time to time.

Joking aside, it's not bad considering the amount of time put into it. Winning is a matter of having enough luck or patience to convince the random number generator to give you the required items, the graphics is not too bad, and the ending... weird?

Overall, not bad, but understandably not too good either.

Thanks! I had to cut a lot of my plans simply due to time, so my priorities were mainly just to get it working. I'm glad you thought it wasn't bad.
