This is pretty cool. I love the small variations in poses as I throw people off the ship.

Haha, what a silly game. Really had fun with it, very nice!

This is the best I've seen yet this time around; great concept, and there's a full (if short) game there! I think level 3 is a bit of an early spike in the difficulty curve, 4 & 5 are comparatively simple.

Really enjoyed this one - failed when it got to the level with 9 choices.. I'm probably just too tired.
Definitely one of the two best I've seen so far

Love it. This is what a ludum dare game is about... quick, simple and to the point. Taking a small mechanic and making something challenging. Thanks!

I loved this one! The only thing that threw me off was that the Keep / Kick presentation feels backwards (you see those that you need to keep on the right) so I always have a hard time remembering who to keep. Other than that, wonderful game :)

I wasn't expecting much, but it was really cool! I tend to kick of people in the rythm of the music, haha.

I love the frantic aspect of the game trying to go faster without trading speed for accuracy!

That's really fun! I suck at it's fun. Every-time i made a mistake i hit the opposite arrow for some reason so i made mistakes in pairs. Only thing i'd criticize is the music was repetitive, but great entry. :)

Fun and simple! Good execution on a simple concept. Audio loop is a little bit too tight, but otherwise not unpleasant. I refuse to believe that level 7 is beatable. Voting N/A on theme because this fits the theme just like nearly every other video game.

Did the pirates took over the titanic! There's a lot people to walk on the board! :P

I loved and thought I could do it fast as the light... I found out I was wrong at level 3!

Simple yet challenging! I like how you work with silhouetes and coloe schemes. Good job!

Really fun game! Level seven is pretty hard, after about 30 tries I got at most 31. Nice job.

Ok, full disclosure time.

- Audio was made in about 10 minutes. I originally wanted a ska inspired number for the actual game but after an hour I realized I forgot that I can't make music and put in a sped up menu song. I thought about leaving audio out altogether but compromised on a mute button...

- Level 3 is hard because originally there were only three levels and it was the last one. The additional levels were a last hour addition so they aren't balanced...

- I can't beat level 7 either. My highest score ever has been over 50, but it was on one of the simpler levels (maybe 1 or 2). I've hit low 30s, but I think I've peaked...

-I always hit mistakes in pairs also. Kick a pirate by accident and save the hostage I meant to kick.

Lv 7 is just too hard! But it's a good game that keeps you playing until the end, nice job!

Nice level progression, I actually find the rate of making distinctions finer established quite well.

Hah! This is deceptively fun and deep, and feels really great when you get into a good rhythm. I love the animations and the quirky premise.

Hi there. Love the presentation and music, small SFX for kick/keep also good. Seems to me might be bug sometimes says you got it wrong, but pretty sure not... Happens about 15 in. Liked the pirate chiptone music. Good job!

Loved it! These kinds of twitch games get my blood pumping like no other and I had a blast trying to quickly sort the people. Very smooth gameplay, good controls, easy to learn and very nice sound effects and music. Overall just a great game! :D

Wow you just made level 7 impossible didn't you?!?! I can't get above 30 even when I'm at my best.

Such a funny idea. Loved the music and the different poses for the pirate captain.

Yeah, level 7 is impossible. At least, I've never been able to beat it. It just has all the sprites that I made in it with a high goal. I blame it on the last minute addition and the lack of playtesting!

I played your pirate game earlier tonight and had a ton of fun! Go pirates!

Thanks a lot for your consistent feedback on The Shift, your game is pretty brain killing as well :) It's simple and original. I liked the super chiptune music and the concept and realization are ludicrous enough to be fun.

Concerning upgrading The Shift, we would probably simply add more levels randomly switched, that would allows more variety and simplicity (current level is kind of complicated because it has to be self-sufficient to match the theme)

That's a whole lot of fun, presented very well. The only weak point is the music, even then it's not bad. I was being overly critical, the difficulty is a little patchy (subtle pirate joke there). Excellent game!

Loads of fun but I was hopeless on the 7th level.

P.S. Your game will appear in my next video (episode #4).

Hahahaha fun :)

Simple but pretty good with changing up the constraints by simply changing graphics :) Now pump some IAPs and go mobile :P
