made by somethingwithcode for LD36 (JAM)
A thousand years ago, a mysterious engineer lived hidden underneath the great mountains of Völgrad. Strange machines bustled restlessly through the tunnels, to serve their master and huge Treasures were piled in his hall.
Those golden times are long gone and the masters hideout is abandoned. But it is told, that one single machine is still active, maintaining the dungeons deadly traps, and not a single piece of gold has been looted.

Heroes are on the approach. Build traps and hide in the secret passages, before the hero is there. If a hero sees you or reaches the dungeons end, you lose. Those filthy heroes will destroy your traps every now and then, so watch out for that.

Controlls:
WASD - Move
Mouse - Look
Left MouseButton - look on the ground and open the building menu to build traps

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.

No indication (if there is it's not obvious) for where enemies come from, it's not clear what how it actually works, I layed down all my traps and then they guy walked to the end, on the first round, dunno how I'm supposed to avoid that, some hitches with the game especially when you load the first level (not the menu), I dislike the stock controller (personal gripe). However the lighting was nice and placements of traps was good (not the laying the trap that was awkward, but the once it had been planted and was in the ground looked good).

Graphics are amazing!! For some reason the graphics remind me of Rust.
The fact that the camera moves up and down as you walk just adds to the overal feeling of "WoW ...how can graphics this good be made in 3 days!".
Great textures and great sound efects. Even though I was kind of lost with what I had to do the UI was clean and very intuitive.
Overall a very nice entry to the LD36 ...good job:)
