ReTroBot Remake by LetzHavePhun by LetzHavePhun
My first game for LudumDare ;-)
You are the Human (green) and have to escape from the Robots (red). Try to "bait" them into the holes.
To be honest... It's was not the best idea to "learn" Unity on the fly. I had sooo much ideas... ;-)
However. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. The original game (Which was also my first computerGame ever ~ 25 years ago in Pascal on an Apple II) is "the same" but VERY different to this. I like the easy 3D in unity but I also miss some "good old things"...
See the Web Link for some additional infos...
Thanks for your time and HaveFun...

Found a bug though, If you fall off the edge, it says "You WON! Sorry the robots got you try again"
It need to be superimproved, there's no winning message (except when you kill youself ._. probably a metaphore about life..); AI needs to be improved a lot because right now it's just super easy (in both the games)
What about the AI can't fall by itself (cause it's clever) and you have to push it with traps or stuff like that? Or if they touch you but are in front of a hole, you can push them?
Would be more meaningful gameplay I think.
I like the fact that it looks like a board game too.
