Tree and Fairy by twelveplusplus

This game is a spinoff of a Zelda-type adventure game I am designing.

You control a fairy who used to live in a tree, until it was turned into a crystal. You have to fend off little robots who are coming to mine the essence from your crystal-tree. If the crystal breaks, it is GAME OVER!

This game is based on the Nintendo 3DS game called "Witch and Hero."

I'm not sure if I was missing anything but it was really repetitive, the art was interesting but really needed more features to it.

Really nice hand drawn graphics!
The gameplay was a bit simple though, it needs more depth.

The art was great, and the mood was getting there (needs a bit more animation). Would love to see this game expanded on. Good job!

This seems like a good start to a game. Was bumping into enemies the only way to reduce their health? I couldn't figure out why my health would replenish, either.

Good start, I feel like it could be several times faster and I wouldn't mind.

Could be interesting with more mechanics, but is a fairly simplistic game. Also, a bit of instructions would have been nice, spent several minutes with the robots beating on my crystal not sure what was happening, trying to figure out how to attack or something.

Simple graphics, yet interestingly appealing. Nice music swell! Controls are simple, but i'm not entirely sure if it's possible to prevent the enemies attack overall nice and simple concept good job!

Art was great (really digging the background) and the music was nice, but the game itself could have a little more going on; it's a bit slow and just nudging the enemies away gets a bit tiresome. I do have to say however that I'm now interested in checking out your game you spun this off from!

Too simple. Yo just keep bumping into the robots until they desapear and nothing happens. They wroke the crystal, I die, I kill the giant boss, and nothing happened.
Needs way more work.
The music is cool tho.

Hi there. Pretty looking and nice music also. Didn't find enough to do or any way to heal.

Very nice graphics and adorable music! Fairly simple defending type game and I really like having to run into the robots to take them out! I really wish it were a bit more challenging though, the enemies spawn really slowly, so there were times where I was waiting for something to happen, or some kind of score system. Well done!

The background music was chippy and punchy, quite enjoyable.

Entities could have used a few frames of animation. The controls were unclear. I could only figure to attack by ramming myself into the enemies, which was not engaging since your avatar moves so slowly and is hurt by ramming.

There is a lack of sense of progression since there are no clear waves or goals for the player.

Pace is slow, making the game not much fun to play.
Graphics and Audio are good.

Kind of slow and repetitive. Could use different types of monsters. Great background music and sound effects though.

Really like the hand drawn background on this, I think that if the enemies, butterfly (player) and the crystal were hand drawn it would work really well.

Definately has potential, especially in the visual style of the background.
