Confusing, psykotic and weird. I love it!!
Well performed and created even if I cant figure out what it really is. Like the art, the animations and the time spent on small fun details (instead of an actual game :D )
The atmossphere is really cool! Also because of the sound.
I like crazy games like this and its good that its that short (well i doensn't has an ending yet but you know what I mean). Thank you for programming ;) !
The art is really nice. I also love the music during the obelisk "numbers" section of the game. I wish there were a form of progression, but I really like the transitions and the setup. I think this is the basis for a really cool game. Fits the theme really well too.
The dude is properly being rendered behind or in front of the houses and trees.
That's way too advanced of a behaviour for the Atari graphics, takes off the emersion.
Sounds, theme, and graphics were all excellent. I did play for a while though hoping something else would happen, though. I shouldn't have expected that of an 8-bit game, I guess XD
I like the old school pixel graphics, they had a nice charm to them. Not sure if I'm missing something though, as I could only travel back and forth between two technology levels. Probably isn't possible on the Pico-8, but it'd be kinda neat to see the level of graphical fidelity increase with the technology level if you do something with this concept later on.
Nice use of Pico-8. Proper old-school game. Good interpretation of the theme through caveman/obelisk. Gameplay is a bit one dimensional. Need tohou style bullet sprays..!
Amazing sound design and polish!
My eyes are a little sore but I can accept that x3!
Not sure if there was a goal, I turned to a modern human then back to a caveman again, but still amazing!
Huh. Gameplay has major issues. It's simplistic and repetitive. Unclear and confusing. But you know what? Who cares when you have this much *style*. It may have been only a couple minutes, but it was a good couple minutes.
I like the concept and the art/animations. The flashing background is cool.
The game could use a little more progression and something to do before getting to the obelisk but I liked it!
Very smooth controls, loved the feel of it! And of course the more flashes the better =)
Don't know if I got an idea though, but it looks and feels amazing. I love simple but solid experience it offers.
Hi all. Thanks for all your great comments and feedback.
Just following up that no, there's no end condition (good or bad). You just get caught in an infinite loop of new game+.
I wrote this somewhere else too, but, yeah, perhaps this is less a "game" in the traditional sense, and more of an "interactive experience" (or something like that).
There's no winning or losing, but my hope is that it's a fun ride for a few minutes.
This is amazing game to use in new Mr. Robot episode as demonstration of drugs trip :) Also love controls and loading time. This game is definitely has own style :)
It's crazy!!!! I don't know what to say...
Great artwork. Great music. Crazy story...
Is it monolith? With flashing matrix style?
Great job!!! Excellent!!!
Interesting piece of work. There doesn't seem to be a win/lose condition, just keeps bouncing back and forth from two people... Am I missing something? Otherwise, the game has a really nice feel to it!
Very abstract and weird, in the good sense. Loved the start of the game with the little gameboy opening. The sounds and the look, even the controls feel very old school. The gameplay itself isn't anything special, although the "matrix" sequence is done in a cool way.

- of those games I have seen,
this is without comparison
the one that fits the theme best
in my opinion.
I really like the atmosphere of the game,
super nice.

The graphics are nice, but I don't get the point of the game... :/

But digital ruffle too stressful for me. :(

Please confirm the concept so we can know if we get it or not.
Really simple but deep experience/narrative the way i see it.
Nice game.
Interesting narrative.
Wish he could travel further and further in time!
