I walked to the diamond, pressed spacebar, walked to the red thingy, and got a buggy looking lava animation, i guess. What was I doing wrong?

It looked nice, it was a bit vague what was happening, but the avatar looked cute. I do think you need a bit more... story, or at least let the player know what's happening.

Also, be aware that you should vote other entries, otherwise you won't be rated, and therefor won't have a score in the end!

Nice level design - could use a bit more polish with the controls, and some sound.

I'd suggest finding a place to to host this online so people can play it in browser without downloading, as just having it listed as "Source" makes it seem like more effort to get it running than it is. itch.io should be able to do that if you upload it as an "HTML" game.

i liked the lava animation, looked really kewl
also the protagonist looks very sweet :)
checkpoint feature was very nice, otherwise i would have rage quitted :3
on thing i did not like were the parts, were you had to memorize the correct path - several times i just chose wrongly and was left to die :( i think this mechanic is not very fun - but the rest of the game was very fun indeed. keep up the good work
