I found all of the items and artifacts and ended with around 180 gems. Good work, as always!

Decent little, easy to play game, although it was a second or two before I realized I could use the staff to kill the enemies, as I thought it was an item I just had to collect. Keep up the good work!

@Steven Miller - Thanks. I'm hoping to continue development of this game so that you can actually buy things with the collected gems (ran out of time during the compo).

@peejaygee - Yeah, it was a reference to the original Legend of Zelda, where you start out weaponless. I should have added a "It's dangerous to go alone take this" message.

It was a bit too easy but that didn't stop me from finishing it. It's funny that the gems didn't have any real value yet I felt compelled to collect every one that dropped (that's a good thing). I also kept repeating rooms for a bit before I realized that the different doors actually lead to different rooms. doh! This was quite fun.
