Megamage by Pitzik4
A game about a megamage's vision. I guess.
You'd think I'd be better at coming up with a doable game idea and getting my priorities straight after 8 Dares. Oh, well.
Looking back on it now, giving the player a button and saying "figure it out" probably wasn't the best way to introduce them to this mechanic. In a nutshell, everything that's not visible from the focus point is nonsolid in the grass world. So, normally, everything in the grass world seems to be solid, since, if you can collide with it, you can probably see it. When you put down the focus point, everything that you can't see in the grass world is no longer solid, so you can pass through it.
The music was generated by Abundant Music, so don't go saying "My, my, this music is simply exquisite, you are quite a talented composer, sir, you truly are."
Just in case PoV still hasn't fixed the search bar to include downloads, it's Flash and it runs on Web.

I completed the game, though I'm not 100% sure of how it played: pressing X simply allows you to go through the "terrain" tiles to go get the crown? Or was there some additional mechanic that I missed?
The mechanic was really hard for me to figure out. I didn't quite get why I was using spacebar magic where I was. I just kind of did a trial and error thing.
I thought that the sound was really well done, and I'm surprised you fit such an elaborate story into your LD game! That's really impressive, especially since it was so funny. Nice work. :)
