We associated Jules Verne with the theme so we made a submarine game. It is a runner game where you have to collect fuel, oxygen and energy, but with the twist that you can also have to much of any one resource.
All the art is hand drawn in watercolors, photographed, ..., animated.
We worked as three for about 20 hours from thinking about the theme to the current state.
Can you find the ancient god at the end of the run? *dramaticmusic*

I saw you animating the drawing over on twitch, nice to see it done now. the look is very unique with the photographed drawings
It does lack sound though, would have been much better with it.
I thought at the start that those scary fish were enemies to avoid, so I did so and didn't get why I lost, you should add to the description that they should actually be collected for energy.
it's the natural thing to think because they look very vicious :)
I think the submarine looks too flat, the rest of the art is fine as it faces the player, but the submarine faces up so it's clear to see it has no depth.
maybe drawing it in perspective on paper and making it face the player would have been better.
A lot of potential, and with a little more time I think it could be really great.
