Click dancing golems and use the arrrow keys, or W,A,S and D keys to the different beats to control them on the dance floor.
Match the same colored golems to get points and clear up some room for more!
'A golem is an animated anthropomorphic being, magically created entirely from funky ingredients, such as platform shoes, sequins, and four-to-the-floor drum patterns' [citation needed] Once every ten thousand years, deep below the surface of the earth, the ancient and forgotten catacombs of Disconia are woken by the power of ancient funky Disco beats, and the silent denizens of that once proud civilisation take to their feet, with one resolute aim; Getting' down. As a conductor of funk, take control of the Golems of Disconia and guide them to their dance floor partners, to transcend this world in a flash of flares and disco fever. Connect bigger Golem groups for more points, and become the stuff of ancient Disco legend.

When I saw the thumbnail I knew right away that I was in for some robotic goodness. I was not disappointed :)
The game looks and feels really good. Because of the format, it looks like it was originally designed for mobile, but the experience is good in the web browser nonetheless. Once again, fantastic aesthetics, and a totally unique gameplay!
Beautiful looking game!
Still, I love the mechanic of actually CONTROLLING where the golems move using the beat. That's pretty novel.
Good job, guys!
You have beautiful art style and awesome music. Very nice game.
Nice job :)
So what we have: Hard game to understart how correctly play, the colors is awful (sorry, but hard to read the screen, you need work on that)
and we have a very very nice concept and game with feels !(what is rare on LD)
Good luck with you project and awesome job!
Also, games like these could use some online leaderboards (at first I somehow thought that the three pictures on the main screen are the top 3 players, actually XD).
I found the controls very hard to get a hold of - mostly it was not understanding that the circle was triggered on the beat, so you could wait till bar 3/4 and have longer to get ready on the controls.
Also, making the robots have different time patterns is good, but when you first play the game you have a three second window to click, absorb everything, then make a decision - it's quite overwhelming as a player to be thrown into the deep end so quickly.
Fun game and love the music. Keep it up!
We played your game on stream too, which you can view in here: https://www.twitch.tv/cantgetourname/v/87128748
