This is a really solid entry and I love the monster design--the sheer surrealness of all of it. I struggled with a lot of the gameplay, though... my walls seemed really ineffective and slow to build. A balance where I could build a little bit more of a fortress each time, rather than having my defenses totally obliterated with each (increasingly large) wave, would have been nice. Another minor gameplay tweak would be changing the player character slightly so that the antenna shot comes from closer to the center of the tile, since as-is I found myself missing a lot--it's a great visual design decision, but because players are usually so accustomed to shooting from the center of mass rather than the edge of the tile, it's pretty disorienting in the beginning of the game.\r\rOther stuff I liked--the VA, the horrible moment when I noticed the eyeballs all around me, the simultaneous attachment to and disdain for my own livestock.\r\rThank you for the game!"},{"author_name":"local minimum","author_uid":"24765","time":"Dec 10, 2014 @ 4:49pm","epoch":1418229840,"text":"Much fun farming simulator cow tower defense or what exactly the classification of this game should be. I'm not very good at that type of 4D aiming and not very good at the wave defense games either, so the fact that I managed to survive quite long (according to my book) and still feel challenged means it had a great difficulty progression. I didn't get much time over to feed or shelter the cows, but I suppose that was sort of the balance you were aiming at. \r\rAfter a while I noticed that the cows had levels and that it actually mattered. So I would suggest having a clearer visual feedback on cow level up and at least for me it would have helped to give the player a breather by a short slow motion passage as that happened.\r\rIf I got it right, the cows would die if they got pushed out in that black void. If would have been nice with some animation for when that happened (maybe there was one but I was too focused on the remainder of my herd).
