Pretty cool game, won it :P

There seems to be a little bug though, if you jump and stick to a platform's edge, you sometimes get stuck.

The theme and graphics for this are pretty cute. The platforming controls could use a little work, but nice job.

I like your interpretation, but it lacks a bit of variation. After two attacks you simple know when and wherethe pen will strike again. Just some random factors and maybe "new attacks" would have been cool! Still very cute!

I enjoyed this ^_^ I think if a little more was put in it would be a really cool complete game. I liked the whole feel of the pencil eraser and stuff.

You should include a game mode where you are the pencil. That's what I thought was going on at first :P

Cute, fun little game! Some audio would have helped bring it all together.

Thanks all.

I'll update the game with tweaked controls and some sound later this week.

Original concept was that once you have destroyed a page, it would tear away revealing the next level and next school subject. The last level would be on the manilla back of the notebook where you have a boss fight with the pencil.

This was a very different take on the theme, and indeed on a platformer. It's complete and well thought out.

My wife made a "Mum plays..." of your game: http://youtu.be/ikVR1T6hCzI

This is really neat! I played it several times before I really got decent at it. It is a little awkward getting stuck between numbers sometimes. Very nice work!

Yo Kep! Just played the post jam version with the refined controls and can say that you've definitely made it a richer experience! Final thing I'd suggest is a quick tutorial page that explains how to move and head-butt the letters. Nice job again, I really dig the style. I was actually able to outrun certain death this time, hah!

Hi :) !
The pencil follow animation is cool, we should see it more !
May be the pencil could be closer when moving around before it tries to erase the character ?

Just tried the post-jam version. The music and sounds really add to it. My wife is sitting beside me now raving about how good your game is becoming - and how original it is too. A good game just got better.

cute idea. collisions get a bit sticky though. i would often get stuck and then erased >_<

This is a great idea. I wish you could dodge the eraser in a way that it would erase the math problems. This would add a neat upside to dodging the eraser smoothly in the right positions. Good job. fun to play.
