LITERALLY A PLATFORMER by ninebitjared

[raw]
made by ninebitjared for LD31 (JAM)
LITERALLY A PLATFORMER is a platforming game with no checkpoints, and I made in about 4 hours total. I'll update it and make a html5 version from scratch (probably) and a mobile version.

I liked it! Very good job for 4 hours of work. Pretty hard, but the controls are fine, so it's all my own fault ;)

The minimalistic graphics really didn't bother me at all.

Not too bad actually. Some clipping issues but overall a good start :)

Not bad at all and fun to play for a few minutes. More levels on the way?

I like the idea of the nano-platformer :)
That said, it's still far from being an actual game (feedbacks, better controls, better collision checks, levels, sounds etc.)
Would be cool to see what comes out of a few more hours of work on it!

Nice little platformer, definitely on one screen.

Actually reminds me of a TI83 calculator game I used to play. I think with some added levels, and maybe even a level editor, this could be pretty cool. I did have some issues with the collision detection. Sometimes I'd be hovering, or on red but not dead. Is there a way to win?
