I like this game, although it is a little awkward to play with the controls.

I wasn't able to fire on OSX as I don't have a right control key. Consider making the spacebar the key to fire the deadly slime.

The controls were a bit awkward - it was not intuitive to press left to change the direction of the worm.

The worm looked really cool and the animation for it moving was well done. The graphics overall looked great!

Pretty clunky controls making for not such a fun experience. Liking the idea though

Ha! I could walk on the top of the screen. :P I like the idea of scaling the terrain this way, could make for some interesting angled shooting.

What's up with controls? They are weird.
I liked the logo design and graphics overall. They make such a little game look decent.

It's a very challenging game, but it's definietly worth a play. The idea is quite innovative :)

Controls:

We almost didn't manage to coax the physics to allow the reversal of direction at all and we had to use this flip mechanic as a desperate measure to get it all to work. We completely agree that they're... bad.

OSX controls:

Haha shows how little I know about mac. You should be able to set the firing button at start up though. I'll try and make a new build to fix it.

Nice and pretty different gameplay. At the beginning the controls could be a little bit weird, but didn't took me too much time to get used. It was only matter of time. Once I got used, was easy to control the velvet worm. Although, sometimes the aim of the cannon wasn't in accord with the worm's position.
One of the best parts was the "About Velvet Worms" option! Watching the video before playing made me feel better the atmosphere.
Also, it has good audios (maybe the volume could be increased a little bit), nice graphics and the logo is perfect! :D

* 3:28 is my best time so far.

Interesting game, however the controlls are really not intuitive :D Not once tried I move left and ended up moving right or just turning around like 5 times until my mind figured out whats wrong. Anyway, thanks for the entry :)

The controls are quite clumsy, also a targeting reticule would help a lot.

I like the gameplay idea but I couldn't get used to the controls at all.

Definitely a new idea. The movement around the environment It was interesting that you could scale things in a realistic way. Controls are a little difficult.

It was hard at first to direct the fluid consistently where you wanted, however after revisiting the controls it is better. The cannon needs an indicator/feedback for the direction it will spray.

I like the art style and graphics overall and the UI is well made (although slightly blurry on web version?).

The liquid also looks like it could be very fun but you don't really get to use it in an engaging way. It might be interesting to see if you could do something more action packed with this spray.

Since time is the only factor, it doesn't really have a challenge - although with the strange controls I don't think adding in death would be a good idea since players would get frustrated before learning.

Controls were a bit weird but the concept was pretty good and I liked how you've included a link to a youtube video about these velvet worms (The More You Know).

For some reason, I couldnt shoot and I found the controls to be a bit awkward, but I like the concept and the caterpillar. I Included it in part 13 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/yuPvpTdD-O8

Great idea, but gameplay is not clear. Worm movement is awesome!
