BUSY DUNGEON by MrLeePerry
BUSY DUNGEON!
The essence of Frogger, in a randomly generated dungeon, um... with backstabbing. What's not to like?
Here's what you need to know... see that door on the FAAAAAAAR right? Get to it. Done.
You can run into an enemy from behind to kill him! It's risky stuff, but earns more points! The dungeon happens to be 100 steps wide.
I always wanted to try making a game in a banner basically. This was a good chance. It's panoramic. Like wide, VERY wide. Like, banner ad wide. 8:1 wide 1200x150. Blow that non-Chrome web browser open and enjoy!
You have some serious monitor space? Want 2000x250? Try this link:

I had a great time making this! I focused on mechanics prior to doing anything to make it look better than moving cubes, and I really enjoy playing it. I've been on a Frogger/Crossy Roads kick lately and this was something I wanted to try. I wanted some time to make a torch effect, and some gratuitous gib death maybe, but, such is LD48.
All the audio is recorded on my phone and edited in audacity, haha. I randomly generated music, slowed it down and made it "orc-like". That was fun :) I'll probably go ahead and make a version that scrolls soon, I enjoy the game enough to mess with it some post-jam for once.
Also, I'm not really doing PC and Mac builds. The funky aspect ratio plays hell on the various stand alone builds. I'm really sorry if you're one of the few who download entries!

Good Idea, and good realization!
Well done!
Great atmosphere.
One thing, though... I never realized you could backstab anyone! It didn't make me learn this or tell me (unless I missed it).
Innovative use of the shape and nice nod to the theme. Congrats on a sweet game.
Other than that, the controls felt pretty nice.
Also Thanks for the feedback!
The banner idea is really engaging and only suffers a little bit from being a little bit small on the screen.
One of the games I'll look forward to coming back to!
