Sky Organ

Play the Sky Organ and capture small creatures. Don't catch the red skulls.

Each tube will play a random note and when activated will create a vortex of suction that can trap wandering creatures.

Controls: Keys on your keyboard correspond to organ tubes on the screen.

Something seems to be up with Chrome(At least on OS X). Best play in Safari, Firefox, IE or other.

Really interesting mechanic. It would be cool if it somehow made it so that you could never play a dissonant note, make it sound more like music automatically. Cool game!

First thought: What are the controls?
Second thought: EVERYTHING IS THE CONTROLS!
Third thought: Sweeet.
Fourth thought: I'm not a musician...
Fifth thought: Oh damn that game over... LOL

Now that is a kind of game I haven't played before haha.
It's quite difficult with all those keys but so funny still :D

Really interesting! I would have preferred if the controls were kept to the alphabet keys.

Very different control scheme! Nice 3D models. I liked the sound / music. I wasn't always sure why some bubbles didn't get popped by the organ.

WHOAH. Really cool! Never seen anything like this. I kinda like the dissonance, gives it kinda a spooky mood :)

I died and wasn't sure why. I assume sucking up skulls is a bad thing...?
Enjoyed the challenge of finding the right key rather than just pressing everything at once...
The models are nicely done...

at rhythm games. (This looks really weird now.)

I had not considered this a rhythm game until you mentioned it xgeovanni. I guess if you have got rhythm then it is.

Really liked the idea, pretty innovative. Ended up pressing every single key :P

This mechanic is great. I wish it was slightly more constrained to maybe just the character keys. I guess it is part of the challenge, but I ended up feeling as if I was just mashing keys rather than having to be a skilled "keyboard organist". The game is still fun, and has a unique mechanic. Well done.

Nice game overall. I had problems figuring out the controls at first, but when I did - I got another problem: The upper-left tube won't work. I could play all its neighbours, but not the upper-left. Is this the horror of different keyboard layouts?

Anyway, I died really quickly afterwards. I love the game over screen!

Pretty sure I lost several good years of life on my keyboard after this game, haha. What a cool concept - and sometimes the pipes played some really nice music!

Haha! Its true @Diventurer my keyboard input does not really account for special keyboards. I am not sure what would happen to someone on a dvorak layout for example.

Thanks for letting me know @Logun. Everything seems fine from here. There is an issue on some versions of Chrome. People have been using other browsers for this jam to work around it.

Hi there. Really fun feedback from tapping keys... You really feel you are the organ... excellent. Sounds nice and flutey. Good job!

This is such an amazing game, I've never seen a thing like this! hard to see where or how far the bubbles were though, ended up smashing my keyboard but I still had fun. Goodjob and high innovation!

Really neat control scheme. It was a bit uncomfortable at first using non-alphabetic keys but you get used to it pretty fast. Fun and creative entry!

This would be a compliment for music composers who can play the organ using a computer keyboard. Good job on this.
