It was interesting, but I would have killed for some common CLI shortcuts. No up or tab meant a lot of repetitive typing, and on more than one occasion I would be 10+% over the capacity, and in the time it took me to type 'status' I would get a warning message that I wasn't meeting demand. It would have been nice if the status screen updated itself in real time.

The graphics were really on point. I liked the shader you used for the old-school 80s-era monitors, it really did a good job invoking that feeling. Humorous text, interesting design, overall not a bad job at all. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go ice my wrists.

The game was nice to play but as Empyrealhell pointed out it would've been better to implement actual terminal shortcuts like tab for auto-completion or up to access the history.

But overall a really great game! :)

Glory to OUR LEADER!

This is a fun idea. Just a tad on the slow side. Graphics are really awesome and a nice play on the theme. Really enjoyed this one.

So gooooood! I'm really happy with the feel of this entry. At first I was like, huh nothing's happening? After a moment I was typing STATUS over and over. Strangely addictive for its simplicity. Is there a way to reduce the radioaktivity? I was venting constantly, to remain at 0% pressure... so eventually I poisoned everyone.

This is a really unique entry, and I think you could go further with it. If the messages etc... were used to introduce an element of intrigue, for example, or if the controls were more involved but less likely to kill everyone all the time.

Thanks for playing our entry, by the way: I think we were going for something similar, but you nailed it.

@ZNCatlaw: atmospheric radioaktivity dissipates very slowly with time. Rumors of birth defekts are Western Propaganda Lies.

(Very glad folks are enjoying it! Thanks for playing! This is definitely intended to be a "you're going to die of _something_, how long can you hold out/what lengths will you go to to survive" game. Definitely considering continuing development along similar lines as you mentioned.)

Hah.
Love the flavor text. I actually enjoyed typing in STATUS a million times. Since the act of typing one word was the key to accessing the readout, for me it created suspense simply through the lack of an easy way to access the information I needed. I messed up typing STATUS more than once because of the stress of wanting to see a more recent update.
Fun and unique game!

Wow! Almost perfect! I've really enjoyed this entry and I'm gonna play more. Really nice graphics too. It reminded me actual terminal so much that I kept hitting tab and up arrow quiet often :D. So good job - now it's in my personal folder "Outstanding"!

I love the idea! Bit hard to keep that nuclear plant safe, I died soon the first time -or, well, had a visit from the leader-.
The visual style is perfect, and the feeling of using the console is really cool. Congrats! I miss some sound effects though, that would have been perfect.

Very nice terminal graphics! The concept is interesting, but I couldn't get to know if I'm playing it right. I feel like I'm not being helpful for the Republik.

Cool idea, I liked it. I like the filter you used to get that old monitor effect. Really felt like your using a terminal kept finding myself hitting tab and up to autocomplete and get last commands...lol. Fun game, I liked it :)

Pretty cool idea, I just wished there were some more actions you could take and maybe some more explanation of how the different levels (coolant, capacity etc) affected each other.

Really cool idea here. I enjoyed the interface a lot with the CRT effects and film grain really selling the idea that you're in an oppressive monotonous job. The concept itself was really funny, and you did a good job of selling it with the writing. The idea that you are in a position that is basically set up to fail is pretty clever, and I see a lot of the game "Paper's Please" in this piece. The highlighting for keyword inputs was also clever in indicating what the player should do without any explicit hand holding or tutorializing. The mechanics themselves were a little too simple for my taste. I felt like you could have added a little bit more in terms of the interesting events that occur during gameplay. The most I ended up surviving was only two hours. I did some experiments trying to mange things in a lazy way, but ended up having to vent too much to survive. You did a good job making the systems you had in place all balanced and important. I think it would have been cool to add some keypress or print out like audio effects if you had time. Overall, pretty sick idea, really funny concept, and great job polishing the interface. Thanks for letting me play your game, and I really hope that you come back next time!

Really great job on theming everything to serve your narrative with all the text and warnings and stuff. It really took a simple concept and added that nice extra layer of polish to pull it all together into a solid experience. Also I killed everybody. Nice interpretation of the theme to one console interface, and nice visual touches to really sell that (like the skreen noise, etc). I found myself naturally trying to press the up arrow to repeat my last command, which might be a fun bit of super-polish if you consider it. Nice job!
