Well, that's not very fun, you probably know that. You could've included some twists or combos in classic RPS formula.

This is basically Rock Paper Scissors? It kinda gets boring very quickly.

I see this more as a fighting system of a bigger game. Also one though is to add characters, so you pick a character with stats Sword: 4, Bunny: 8, BeardMan: 6. when there is a tie the opponent with the highest stat winns etc, etc...

BeardMan is actually a Shield not a BearMan :P @OneMuppet

Gfx are simple but functional, great improvement on RPS, I'd love to try it as a Multiplayer live with some friend :)

It's simple but well made. The overarching victory condition gives it just enough extra depth over vanilla RPS to make it interesting.

This seems like a good early attempt at making a game in GameMaker, it seems like you learnt a lot through the course of the jam. Some improvements post-jam that I would suggest would be:

1) making the cards and the "lock in" button react when you mouse over, so you know you can interact with them

2) changing popups to be in-game images or text, so the look and feel of the user interface stays the same throughout your entire game

Well done, and looking forward to see what you've learnt by the next jam!

Gameplay is a bit flat, the graphics are pretty crude, and the sound effects are kind of jarring. It's also a little irksome that you have to press "lock in" after selecting your move, it should just be one button, or double click or something. I could see this being part of a larger system and being fun, but as it stands, there just isn't enough there.

mix "poker" and r-p-s was good idea but doesn't work well here. Maybe because we play against a simple AI? In 2 players game, we can try to guess what the other will play regarding what he have...
