Ripley by k8n
The game is inspired by Carpenter's movie and King's book with a small reference to 'Alien'. The idea was to turn the bots into aliens at night, but due to the limited amount of time it didn't happen. So what is left is this:
You play for a bearded tough guy with a flame-thrower. You have some assistants, but they are quite dumb and die nearly immediately. It's only you, snow and Ripley crawling at you from all directions. You have to survive for 4 days before the help will come. To do so you have:
* to eat
* to make a fire and to warm yourself
* not to get burned
* not to get infected

Really hard (altrough my azerty keyboard didn't help me) but fun, totally loved the fact the fact that you could burn your friends !

Too damn difficult, also the game doesn't handle well the fire collision making the game even more difficult.

the fire collision needs some work, but i like the idea and theme... totally want to watch The Thing now.

I didn't make it very far... I like the idea of this encroaching goo, and having to fend it off with fire.

Same as others: nice idea, but the implementation could be improved. But this is already quite good for making a game in such short time! Keep up at it!
