At first I tried to move the tank with the arrow keys... I thought you can't move and you have to move by shooting XD Then read your description and retried with WASD. One tip. I would consider also implementing the arrow keys as alternative control scheme. For me wasd works, but there are many keyboard layouts that don't work very well with that combo. I really like how the tank moves (how he not just rotates stationary).

@atombrot, hah, forgot to do that :P usually I just allow rebindable keys, but this time I reworked my UI system and didn't have time to reimplement it. Thanks for playing :)

Wow. Snowmen > tank :) Theme 'snowman' is more popular than entire game on one screen

Quite fun game. Not very original (there are a lot of shmups on this LD).
The background is too noisy for me. I liked the music.

Very slick controls. I really like the recoil after shooting.

Felt good n' shakey. Personally don't like it when people use snowman theme though because most of them obviously started early.

@calavera, well I guess this is the game I would've made if the theme would have been snowman, but I didn't start until the theme was announced, just so you know :)

Nice! I really liked the fast controls, very responsive, fast action game! I was expecting sluggish tank controls, boy was I wrong!

It felt more suited for a spaceship or something more maneuverable. Also, very nice AI. Could've been nice to have more enemy types and/or tank upgrades, but overall, amazing for a compo! Keep it up :)

@Grindstorm, thanks! I was actually planning on adding upgrades and different enemies, but I was on the computer for about 30 total hours, so by the end I wasn't feeling too well and decided to stop :P

Quite possibly the only game where I've ever fought dubstep snowmen. I'm not sure what to make of that really...

I thought the game was really polished and pretty fun, the screen shake added to the chaos very nicely. The graphics were done quite well, the tank explosion was pretty cool I've gotta admit! Maybe powerups would have been nice in a scoring top-down shooter like this? Nice work, keep it up! :D
