Not sure if I just didn't get to it, but that bridge to me needs something reaching up out of that canyon to grab the players!
I would really like to see this developed into a huge map with different routes through the world (to a variety of princes.
It kind of reminds me of a story book, especially down to the different still poses of the characters. the one on the log is my personal favorite.
Great work and the very best of luck in the competition. Thanks for making this!
Thanks for your feedback! Yeah, a bridge monster is a great idea for an obstacle. I might very well add that.
Glad you see the story behind it. I tried to make it so it would act out well whichever direction you'd choose to walk.
Once again thanks. I'll make sure to check out your jam entry (;
@rogberth
Thanks man. Glad to hear that!
I would really like to see this turned into a rhythm-based puzzle. As it stands, it can be played by waiting for the right moments to mash left or right all the way across.
Thanks! Glad to hear you appreciate this kind of games [:
@Hicksk
Thank you. Indeed, the game doesn't offer much variation of gameplay. This is part because I wanted to make a resemblance of the old G&Ws, where you in most cases would be able to move only left or right. If I make something like this again, I might add more variation though (:
@Thommy
Glad you like it! (;
@RainbowSexyFish
I'm honored to hear that you've been looking forward to this 'o'
That's right. There is no back story, and therefore the story can be interpreted as one would wish. And indeed your version sounds really fitting to the style (:
My previous game, Dereck, is a rhythm-based puzzle. Maybe I could try mixing them somewhat together in the next compo.
Once again, thanks a lot!
It's great that you have even put the menu on the same screen.
It reminds me of the old nintendo game and watch games, like the octopus. :)
Well done and good luck!
I think you might've rated the wrong game :P There is no aggressive snowman in mine.
@oh_andrej
Thanks man! Glad you like it!
@lisac
Thanks, I'm really happy to hear that! Yeah, the octopus is one of my main inspirations for the game! Well observed(;
Thanks!
@oh_cripes
Thanks mate. Yep, it's simple, but should get pretty challenging at about 25-40 points.
thought it was too easy until everything started together ... :D
It would be even better if it could be played on smartphones.
Nice job.
Thanks! Great idea, I'll try to make that happen soon!
@Figglewatts, @Eduardo:
Thanks!
@Webravenz:
Thanks glad you liked it! Happy to hear someone played it till all three obstacles played together (;
@Double Zero One Zero:
Thanks! Inedeed, a Game & Watch should be mandatory in every home
@K.Chplr:
Thank you, I'll try to make that happen! Glad you found the music superb [;
@renatopp:
Thank you. Indeed, the mechanics are quite simple. Might do something a bit more advanced next time.
@Instant Noodles:
Thank you, good sir.
@SirRicecake:
Cool, thanks! Yeah, time to steer away from the stereotypical fairytail.
@gelisam:
Thanks man! That really means a lot!
@Murchurl:
Thanks mate! The game in itself is quite simple. Get all the way to the right to rescue the prince. Get back to the castle, and score a point. The game's difficulty increases gradually.
