I liked that beginning animation where he picks up the sword. Also, the expanding window thing was really neat.

(++++)Theme interpretation is great. Graphics are great. Gameplay is fluid and fun.

(-)Gameplay turns a bit repetitive perhaps a bit too soon, When item drops cease it just becomes a race against the scaling.

Great game, good job.

Cool game, but it seems like it's kind of poorly balanced, and issue I've struggled with too when I try to do procedural upgrade-based gameplay in such a short time frame. Right now it feels like you max out your powers way too fast, and it makes it trivial to kill the enemies by just spamming the attack button. I also question giving the player back all his health at the beginning of each level, resource management is a big part of most roguelikes, and be regaining all health on each floor you're kind of removing it from the equation.

Would it be possible to provide a version that doesn't require you to install it?

Hey! Loved your use of the theme. I'd love to see this fleshed out: the first time I saw an empty chest I cried! Maybe slow down power progressions and add stat upgrades? Expanding window is awesome.

By far the most fun I've had this LD. I really enjoyed this. I made it to level 12. I would definitely play an expanded(see what I did there) version of this. I could play this for hours if it had a loot system more weapons and "Deflecto Sword" was changed to "Deflecto Sword™". I loved the graphics, music, and theme interpretation. A really solid little game.
