The notepad being the weapon is such a stretch that it burns. While the graphics are really nice and fit their own style, they don't really add much to it, even text-buttons in 2D would have worked (perhaps even better, because it was not really intuitive selecting people). Keeping notes on paper helped, but it still took some tries figuring it out (at least for me).
