Robot Cat Loves Boxes by Dan Norder
Robot Cat Loves Boxes is a simple game created for Ludum Dare #32 (theme: "An Unconventional Weapon"). You are a lonely Robot Cat who longs to hang out in his favorite cardboard box. Unfortunately, a group of Robot Dogs would like nothing better than to spoil your fun by blowing your power cell to hell. Fight back with your power-charged cybermeow.
For the Flash application to work you must first click the game to make it active. Then use arrow keys to move and space bar to launch your unconventional attack.
Graphics are in a mock NES style, though the number of colors in sprites and number of them on the screen likely wouldn't really work on a Nintendo.

It would have been nice if I could choose the direction to shoot and almost made it feel more like a puzzle as I had to decide which direction to move to make it easiest to shoot the dogs.
Your image of the cat looks really similar to something I drew for my twine game (the bad ending)!
You just need some more work on the IA pathfinding but for a compo entry it's hard to have time for everything ^^
Some levels are just unbeatable, because Robot dogs spawn too close to the Robot Cat !
Nice work anyway.
