Timegun by Markus

[raw]
made by Markus for LD32 (JAM)
Shoot the enemies with the current time.

Not really finished. The different kinds of enemies are supposed to only take damage from the day gun/night gun respectively.

Mac and Linux versions coming soon, probably.

An interesting concept, the movement felt smooth and it was quite satisfying shooting the enemies. The walls and rooms in my opinion looked a bit too blended together, so it wasn't that clear where the corners of the rooms were, however it might stand out more if the environment was textured rather than a colour. I liked the monster designs! if you could create more detailed versions of them then they'd look scary.

Cool style. I had a problem with seeing through walls if I got too close to them, but I thoroughly enjoyed getting utterly lost blasting crude monsters (into the future? I made that up because of the title. I'm not looking forward to the future I created that's filled with monsters again).

Cool game. I like how you get lost so easyly. You could see through wall if you stood close too them and it was quite short too (or maybe I just didnt found the way to continue). But still very fun.

It's really hard to see anything, and you often end up looking through walls. Visual design is neat at a glance but works against you when you try to play.

Don't really understood what to do, written by yourself concept is nice, but it doesn't realized, so there is nothing to play.

I liked the graphics, like a sleepy Doom on retreat - would love to see a more developed game of this

Albeit a bit weird I did enjoy the art and gameplay.

I liked the art, but the gun just behaved like a regular gun... It killed both enemies. Also, walking into walls made them see-through. Great artistic direction though

Graphics are interesting! With some ambient sound/music, this could give a nice ambiance. Shooting enemies is fun, but there are not enough of them, and of course at this development point there is no challenge because they don't seem to be dangerous. Also, collision bug: you can look through walls, I don't think it's expected.

Intriguing but my god... The colors of walls/floors/ceilings is incomprehensible man! :D
