Reaper by Reaper

[raw]
made by Reaper for LD32 (COMPO)
G-force is a 10 level game; it involves precise timing and move control. For my "unconventional weapon" I choose to use the "Force". I used slick and lwjgl to make the game and GraphicGale for the pixel art.

I had difficulties to find how to download the game from github website haha. I like the game idea and everything seems to fuction well but the major problem was at least on my settings the character runs and jumps incredibly slowly. Maybe it is just me, I liked the theme and the idea is nice. :)

Very fun weapon to use, haha. It was a little confusing when some enemies shot backwards (also, the game ran very slowly, but not choppy, for me)

It's a good idea, but the character is too slow. Nice entry, anyway!

Definitely and interesting concept but the gameplay was unbearably slow. It took probably 5 seconds to reach the pinnacle of a jump.

Not a bad idea actually, having to knock enemies off the bottom of the level is sorta fun. It's definitely too slow as other people have pointed out. Graphics are ok, but a bit dull. Still though I like the general idea and it'd be cool to see a tweaked version. In future I'd recommend not using github to host your file, its a bit obscure to find how to download from it.

If you are going to use github as a file host, you should be specific about instructions for how to download it, since github doesn't make this obvious.

"View Raw" seemed to act as a download link.

For whatever reason it takes forever to walk anywhere. I don't know if this is intended or if it it playing at an incorrect framerate, but it really doesn't feel good.
I found that I could push things and destroy bullets with space, but I have to push people off cliffs or into spikes.
It would probably be more clear that I can't push them off the side of the screen if there was a wall there, and that pushing them off the bottom would kill them if there were spikes there.

Good game but was a little slow.
