Gold medal! Awesome idea - it really makes you think as you're moving around. I bet multiplayer would be fun :) Also, I like how you're not just a watermelon, but a watermelon with flailing axe arms.

Having up/down control spinning AND movement was tough. I think this would be fun multiplayer

Wow, this was pretty awesome. Great use of the theme, and great gameplay mechanics. I liked how the different enemies required different strategy, though I felt a little sorry for the poor box that spawned with zero axes.

Great fun, and very slick - thanks!
Loving the look of the axe trails, and the whole world slowly spinning somehow makes it seem even more dangerous.
Think I'd probably prefer independent move/spin controls.
The variety in enemy types works a treat - plenty of depth from learning how to best handle each kind.

Do you remember one game from Amiga computer - Burnout?
This is very similar gameplay and I love it! Although the mechanics could be more precise. Anyway, great game!

one of the most fun entries! The controls are first confusing but as soon as I got the feel of it really fun and hard to master ;)
Really innovative. Also the mood for a real battle arena was set.
The only thing missing in the mix was a quake3 like soundtrack or something similar harhar ;) well done sir/mam'!

ps: gold medal, 11 kills. Some of the enemies I tricked into the abyss.

Thanks for comments! Never played Burnout, this game was -kinda - inspired by Duet in android :)
About music, just put duel of fates playing and you are set, haha

Well that was quite ludicrous, but the controls were rather fluid and solid. Good work.

At first the controls are confusing as hell, but once you get used to it you can see how it forces certain strategy. The squelching of boxes exploding in blood is particularly satisfying. The random enemies work with the physics really well, and I like the feeling of jostling around trying to get an opening - very cool. The combat is so fast that you don't have time to line up attacks, often just flailing and hoping for the best. I managed to get a diamond level score of 39 which I was proud of :)
Would benefit a lot from some music (and maybe a few arenas that unlock when reaching a certain score)
