- best worldwide score is saved and displayed for each level, but you can't set your name, so everybody is Anonymous...
- a timed mode was in the works but couldn't be done in time
- assets for 2 alternative environments were ready as well...
- level design was a bit of a last minute thing: the tutorial is half done and the difficulty curve is non-existent
Oh well, we had a lot of fun making it and we hope you'll enjoy playing it! Thanks for your time and comments! :D
i think the swap color system does not fits well with random bullets, or i did miss something :D
You should definitely try to finish everything that you couldn't. Congrats!
Yes the content is lacking in terms of levels... I wrote about is here (and I added a video tutorial): http://ludumdare.com/compo/2015/04/24/seamus-gun-short-post-mortem-and-how-to-play/
May be the right click could skip a bullet raher than swap bullet and reserve (so we can have good color spaming the right click)
And with this art, this game is just epic.
Great job ! :)
The protection from a certain color and color swapping wasn't very useful, maybe you could add a level with inevitable damage over time, or some super-duper color you'd like to store in your backpack.
Seems like this game is too big for the jam, so a post-compo is suggested. A further developed one.
And "Game over"? Who tells the winner it's "Game over"?
Thanks to all for the feedback!
Congrats =D
Don't hesitate to continue to work on it, I really liked it (felt like nuclear throne).
