I din't know about GHCJS, so thanks for that and for sharing your code and engine.\r<br\/>As a player, I liked the humor and the idea, but sometimes I found frustrating some accidental camera rotations, and not understanding how long it takes from click to spawn.\r<br\/>Great job and thanks again!"},{"author_name":"suppi","author_uid":"29243","time":"Apr 24, 2015 @ 10:07am","epoch":1429869720,"text":"I salute you for doing this in Haskell. great job.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>This is interesting, adding music would make this even better. using the left mouse button for spawning and camera rotate is a bit hard though. i had to click really fast to win and sometimes the camera moved without me wanting it to."},{"author_name":"quyse","author_uid":"49212","time":"Apr 24, 2015 @ 12:58pm","epoch":1429879980,"text":"Thank you all for playing and comments!\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Indeed this entry is more proof-of-concept project rather than real game, and yes the main goal was to make something working in Haskell.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Sorry for camera problems (it was thought as a good idea while coding), and overall incompleteness. Working without artists is hard :) We are two programmers, but one of us can make some models in 3dmax.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Shooting works as a one-element queue: click sets a position in a queue so shoot will be performed as soon as cooldown allows. That way you can shoot at maximum speed, and you don't need to click too fast.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>The main idea is probably not very clear for most people, it's actually a hard-to-explain local meme of Russian competing game-streaming sites sc2tv.ru and goodgame.ru. "Peka" or "comfy" is associated with sc2tv.ru and beaver is associated with goodgame.ru.
