I ended up just using W and moving the mouse. I got negative hit points, was I supposed to die at 0? The sprite art looks very nice. It eerily reminds me of a game I tried to make as a teenager many, many moons ago. I thought you got a lot got done for the time frame. I played a few times, didn't quite grab me but with the right balance it would of (I did play with the settings for a while) Maybe a bit more exploration and empty areas would be good, it all kind of hits you straight away and it feels like there is not a lot you can do against the projectile weapons at the start.
