If you're getting the "failed to initialize player's 3d settings" error with the Unity player, try the second Web link. Technically it has some things added after the jam ended, but nothing too major. Turns out I'm not supposed to make web builds with patched Unity, so I've reverted to the unpatched version to build again.

139! Very fun. Car controls exactly the way I expect it to. Strangely satisfying to knock over the gobpins.

It throws an error and won't load in the Unity player for me, sadly :( I'm running Safari on MacOS.

This reminds me, I haven't gone bowling in a while! :D

Car controls are really fitting, slamming the car into the pins sideways is really neat! :D

Awesome, made me laugh! Love driving into the goblin pins. I felt it got old quick though, and it was too easy to get a strike. Maybe adding some obstacles to get in the way of the car and making the board wider might help.

Car controls I will admit are mostly the Unity Standard Asset car. There's some stuff like weight transfer and differentials that I never got the hang of building from scratch. There's a lot more to it than putting some wheel colliders on something.

So what I ended up spending more time on was
1) how can you be sure all the pins are finished falling over?
2) experimenting with the camera movement

Apparently I should have spent more time on my goblin puns. I didn't think of gobpins :) plus a friend of mine called this Gob-bowlin' which is pretty great, and I might actually change the title.

Okay, I added a bunch of desktop versions on itch.io if the web player isn't working for you.

Feels like a physics demo more than a game. Maybe have a track with a bunch of pins set up and plow through 10 "frames" as a sequence of 20 sets of goblins instead of always resetting? Like endless runner bowling.

The old web version would not run for me on Firefox, so I played the minor updates one.

Simple and funny twist for bowling. Maybe a bit too easy, just missed the 10 pins once.

Very fun game, really satisfying when you hit the pins at just the right angle so that they all go flying!

Interesting take on bowling. Bonus points for humor!

There's a serious glitch though: I've pulled a u-turn and landed the car in the gutter. It ends up going to the start than towards the goblin, pretty much stops the game. I like to suggest a timer to when it is time to go to the next frame.

Hey, cool game! I like the controls and physics! Some sounds and music would have been nice.
