Your hotdog stand is under attack from the hungry people! They love your hotdogs but they will soon destroy your stand. Use your patented hotdog blaster to force feed them to keep them at bay.
P.S. Side effects include swelling and exploding.

@Tortoise and @graebor: Yes audio would have been a great improvement. I just didn't have enough time. This Jam for me was very laid back so I slept a normal amount.
@Javabot: I have never encountered that before. Do you remember what you did to reproduce instead of just shooting a hotdog?
Audio would have been great, especially for a jam entry. Also doesn't really push the theme to its limits -- a gun will always be just a gun, if you know what I mean.
But, a good entry in general. :)

Also it became kinda boring after a while, and was pretty simple
A little bit more gameplay mechanics and it would be interesting!
Obstacles which would block the hot dogs would have made a game a bit more challenging (it seems that right now, an easy way of suceeding is to simply stay in one side of the screen, and continually firing towards the other side.
The "strafe-effect", where firing locked the direction the character was facing, felt a bit odd.
