Update April 22, 2015:

pvwradtke informed me of bug with the Linux version where the first level can't be completed. I wasn't able to reproduce the problem in Ubuntu 14.04, but noticed the quality settings were wrong in the build. I have uploaded new standalone executables that should fix the build quality, and has some logging that may help troubleshoot the issue.

If you encounter an issue, please upload the log file generated to pastebin and post a link in the comments. Log file locations:

Windows: RedThreat_Data\output_log.txt
Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Rob Hailman/Red Threat/Player.log
Mac OS X: ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log

Fun game with a decent ramp up between levels. The audio got a bit repetitive and the interaction between the guys in the later levels was a bit random, but otherwise, pretty fun.

This is a funny idea. I like how the capitalists spread their money around and try to stop me from spreading the word. The music is fun and upbeat and the game play is entertaining. Nice work. Fun concept.

I almost expected to see "Cracked by Mr.Z" in there ;)

very nice game - enjoyed the chunky retro pixels and the gameplay was deeper than I expected with the interplay between the enemy types. Nice

The weapon swapping mechanic made this rather interesting. I really liked the visual style. Music was cool too...

A solid entry all around :P Good luck!

Pretty fun, very retro. Not an incredibly original execution, but the concept of using information as a weapon is fun. Nice work!

This one is funny, a bit hard to play when capitalists have infinite money, and we have limited leaflets :). I'm not sure why, but the Linux version is buggy. In the first level, one civilian is missing, but the counter requires me to convert one more. This doesn't happen in the Windows version (had to run it through Wine).

I really liked the environment art. The office actually gives the impression of a boring office. The concept is interesting overall.

Thanks for playing and for the great feedback so far, everybody.

pvwradtke: thanks for letting me know about the bug with the Linux build. I have no idea what could cause that, but I do have access to an Ubuntu box so I'll take a look when I get a chance.

A friend of mine had a similar idea for his game. It turned out completely different, but I love to see this one. You did a pretty good job!

Dude, this is C64 as all hell. (Well, except for the music.)

I don't have anything explicitly negative to say about this. It's quite a complete package as it is. There's a clear level progression, variety between the different types of people and what they're converted by, then things like using your converts to spread propaganda, and how even that is subverted by enemies that deconvert your allies. All of this for the benefit of the political sub-theme.

Fun game. I really like the retro graphics. The mix of enemies (and the different weapons used for their defeat) makes for interesting gameplay as well.
